Appointment of Michael W. Fitzgerald
Urban Green LLC has the distinct honor of providing its catering services at the celebration of President Obama's appointment of Los Angeles attorney Michael W. Fitzgerald.
After many months of waiting with baited breathe, the U.S. Senate approved California lawyer Michael Fitzgerald’s federal judiciary appointment. Fitzgerald, an openly gay man, was nominated by President Barack Obama last July. With the approval of the Senate, Fitzgerald’s appointment to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California made him the fourth lifetime appointed judge in the country’s history and the first to serve outside of New York.
The celebration will occur on Thursday June 28th, 2012 from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm at the Tom Bradley Tower Rotunda Room, Los Angeles City Hall.

Rickey Smith of Urban Green LLC will participate as one of the panelists of Career Fest: Marshall Presents Brown-Bag Dinner with Social Entrepreneurs. This event is held by the Marshall Outreach and Volunteer Entrepreneurs (MOVE) and the USC Marshall School of Business and is open to the student body of USC - all majors welcomed.
This event will be a casual, candid dinner over brown-bag meals with experienced social entrepreneurs to learn about what it is like to start or work in a business with a mission to do good to society. Students will have an opportunity to mingle and network with guests in addition to the chance to receive honest advice and information about having a career in social enterprises.
